Spicy Herb-Grilled Salmon Steaks

For those of you who own a copy of "wirrek's greatest hits", this recipe should come as no surprise. When I think of spring-time, I think of fresh herbs, so here you go. This is my first time to make this recipe, and DH and I fell in love with it.

1/2 cup basil leaves
1/3 cup mint leaves
3 Tb minced seeded jalapeno pepper
2 Tb white vinegar
2 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
1 tsp sugar (splenda)
2 tsp fish sauce
2 garlic cloves, chopped
4 6-ounce salmon steaks
salt, pepper

1. Prepare grill
2. Combine first 8 ingredients in a blender/food processor and process until smooth. Set aside. Sprinkle salmon steaks with salt and pepper. Grill. Spoon sauce over fish and let it melt in your mouth.

So good.

I missed this one in the book. We should have a Kerri's Greatest Hits challenge one month!

I think that's a great idea! Perhaps in May??

Oh, that's funny. Yeah, we can do that in May. It will be easy enough for me!

No, you don't get off that easy. Your challenge would be to find new recipes that you would want to add to the next edition of the Greatest Hits ... which we are all eagerly awaiting! :)
